What’s In The Bellabox?

Take a look inside this month’s Bellabox.

If you’re anything like me, you love eating and you enjoy getting packages in the mail.

It’s even better when the contents of those packages are a surprise (or food)! Unless it’s homework. Because no one wants surprise homework sprung on them disguised as a gift.

Anyway, I was pretty excited to be able to work with Bellabox this month because if you didn’t already know, Bellabox is an assortment of selected surprises straight to your mail.

Bellabox is usually sent in the blue box (right) but this months Bellabox came in a brown one because it comes with one of my favourite products that doesnt fit in the box.

Another difference with this months Bellabox is that you can see what you’re getting! It’s only for new members & it’s $17.95AU (including postage and handling) so it’s a great idea if you want to try out different products without the commitment and it makes a great gift idea too. This box is only available for purchase until the 17th of this month so get in quick.

Read on if youre curious to see whats in this months box.

And don’t worry. I swear this isn’t turning into a beauty blog because god forbid if this blog was dependant on my makeup skills.

This Bellabox product talk is brought to you by Nuffnang.

Blackcurrant & Moringa Oil

The first thing I noticed after the opening the box was the body wash.

Mainly because it took up most of the box but also because I could recognise a bottle of sweet smelling syrup from a mile away.

My brother is some what obsessed with these and our shower graveyard is already lined with every single scent from Original Source so I’m quite familiar with this body wash brand.

No one else is allowed to use them so I was pretty excited to have my very own bottle. It’s full sized but I doubt it will last long with its amazingly juicy scent. It truly smells like fresh crushed blackcurrant.

Tint Stick in Siren

I haven’t tried out this lip tint yet, mostly because my lips are dry thanks to winter and I don’t want to risk looking like a clown but I did fall in love with the packaging instantly.

I had a go with it on my hand and it’s really nothing like any lip tint I’ve used before. For the record I’ve used two so I probably have no idea what I’m on about but it went on like a water soluble marker. I have no idea if that’s a good thing or not but I like it. I’m hoping it means that the tint is easier to remove than the previous two I’ve tried because if you’ve ever tried to remove lip tint after a night out, you know how ridiculous it makes you look. Or is that just me?

Beeswax Lip Balm

This could not have come at a better time. Remember that clown lip situation I just mentioned? Well, this stuff feels amazing on dry lips.

and I may or may not have been sniffing it repeatedly just for the peppermint scent. This one’s going straight to the handbag.

Aveda damage remedy conditioner for hair.

Damage Remedy

There’s not much I can say about this since I haven’t had time to road test it but I’m pretty excited about it. It has great reviews and I have terrible hair. If there’s a perfect candidate to test this out, it’s my sad excuse for hair.

I’ll be happy to update you guys if you’re interested to know.

EDIT: I actually really like this stuff, despite me taking a couple of years to try it out.

Jean Patou Paris

1000 Eau De Parfum

Personally, I’m not a fan of this perfume. It could be because it reminds me of the perfumes my mom used as a child or because I didn’t know how to open it and spilt it all over my sheepskin rug.

Maybe if I didn’t douse my rug in it, it could be a really sophisticated and slightly musky scent.

There’s two different ones you could get with this box and I’m a little curious as to what the other scent smelt like because it’s full of jasmine and Bulgarian roses.
